Bagonza was joined by the Senior Presidential Advisor on Agribusiness and Value-Addition Development, Dr Hillary Musoke Kisanja, and the Head of Liaisons and Partnerships at the diaspora unit, Topher Matsiko.
During the event, Bagonza commended URO for its remarkable progress in championing the welfare of Ugandan returnees through programmes aimed at reintegration, empowerment and socio-economic transformation.
He applauded the organisation for building strategic partnerships and creating opportunities that enable returnees to rebuild their lives and contribute meaningfully to Uganda's development.
The leaders also recognised URO's growing impact in restoring hope to returnees and reaffirmed commitment to supporting initiatives that promote sustainable livelihoods, entrepreneurship and productive investment among Ugandans returning home. #UgandaDiaspora
