Dr Joshi is a distinguished British-Ugandan businessman, community leader, and diaspora advocate whose work has played an important role in strengthening ties between Uganda and the United Kingdom.
Born in Jinja and a third-generation Ugandan of Indian heritage, he has dedicated many years to promoting enterprise, community development, and people-to-people diplomacy.
In recognition of his contributions to business, charity, and public service, he was awarded the honour of Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) and later appointed Deputy Lieutenant (DL) in the United Kingdom.
Under his leadership, UEUKA has emerged as one of the leading Ugandan diaspora organisations in Europe, championing initiatives that reconnect Ugandans abroad with their homeland while supporting Uganda's development agenda.
The meeting underscored the shared commitment of both institutions to building a more organised, connected, and impactful diaspora community that contributes meaningfully to Uganda's growth and prosperity. #UgandaDiaspora
