Mr Mohammed Bagonza, Head of the State House Diaspora Unit, during a transit stop in Dubai en route to the United States, held a meeting with Mr Mustafa Ndugwa, Chairman of the Ugandan community in Dubai, and Mr Ismail Kamoga from the Sharjah community.

The discussion focused on the evolving security situation in the Gulf region, particularly in light of tensions linked to developments in Iran. Mr Ndugwa assured Mr Bagonza that the situation remains calm, with no reported incidents affecting Ugandans, while noting that the community continues to remain vigilant.
