On Saturday, March 8, 2025, during the national celebrations of Women’s Day at Butemba College playground in Kyankwanzi District, His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni launched Imagine Uganda Magazine.

The magazine is a brainchild of Moses Mawa, a Ugandan based in Canada who is also the President and CEO of Silvertrust Media, Afroglobal Television and Transformation Institute.

Imagine Uganda highlights the beauty, success stories, and opportunities in the Pearl of Africa. It showcases the country’s most remarkable achievements and talents, both at home and abroad.

The magazine serves as a marketing tool to promote Uganda globally, positioning it as a top destination for tourism and investment. “Imagine Uganda is an initiative of Silvertrust Media, based in Canada. It showcases the Pearl of Africa,” said Mawa.

He added that through the magazine, they will be able to engage the international business community, the Ugandan Diaspora, and others in promoting success stories.

Its creation by members of the diaspora reflects their commitment to contributing to Uganda’s development and global recognition.
