The consignment forms part of a larger donation of two million pieces of reusable nappies and sanitary pads valued at Uganda shillings 27.3 billion, intended to support vulnerable women and girls in Uganda, in collaboration with the Office of the First Lady.

VEB Eco-Craft has also expressed its commitment to establish manufacturing centres for these products in Uganda, an initiative expected to create employment opportunities and provide hands-on skills training for young people.

Bagonza appreciated the High Commissioner for "Kusaka" (attracting value for the country) as always advised by H. E the President.
